(JASPER) - Two Loogootee men were arrested in connection with thefts from the 1300 block of 3rd Avenue in Jasper that happened in October.

Items such as water heaters, air conditioners and copper tubing were taken from the property owned by Randy Judy.

Jasper Police set up surveillance equipment in the area and obtained pictures that led them to arrest 50-year-old John Fraley and his 21-year-old stepson Dustin Campbell, both of Loogootee.

Both admitted during questioning that they took items belonging to Judy.

They were charged with theft and lodged in the Dubois County Security Center.
