Police Looking For Man Involved In Attack And Robbery Of Elderly Man

(BEDFORD) - Lawrence County Police are looking for 18-year-old Dylan Rayhill, of Mitchell.

Police say Rayhill allegedly attacked and robbed an elderly man at his Port Williams Road home on November 7th.

According to Lawrence County Sheriff Sam Craig Rayhill is wanted on charges of robbery, criminal confinement, intimidation, battery and theft. Craig says Rayhill and two other men went to the man's home, attacked him and stole money and a gun. Craig says one of the men was armed with a knife.

The victim was not seriously injured during the attack and refused medical treatment.

Rayhill is 5 feet, 9 inches tall, weighs 160 pound and has brown hair and blue eyes. His last known address was 117 West Frank Street. Lot 21. Craig says Rayhill may be driving a black 2-door Chevrolet Cavalier. Police believe Rayhill is still in Lawrence County or possibly the Indianapolis area.

Craig says the case is still under investigation and other arrest warrants could be issued.
