Police Continue To Investigate Counterfeit Money

(UNDATED) - Jackson County Sheriff’s Department, and Seymour and Brownstown Police Departments have been investigating 18 incidents in which counterfeit $20 and $100 bills have been passed at restaurants, convenient, and retail stores in Jackson County.

These investigations have led to several persons of interest. Police are trying to identify and locate a female subject who passed a counterfeit $100 bill at Circle K in Brownstown. They are also looking for three other persons of interest who have been identified as Samantha Perez, Philip Meade, Jr., and Larry Joe Riley.

Anyone who has information regarding the counterfeit money, the unidentified female subject, or the whereabouts of the three subjects of interest should call any of the three investigating law enforcement agencies.
