(PAOLI) - Electricom in Paoli is sending a crew to Pennsylvania.

ElectriCom Right-of-Way services left Monday morning for Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.

They will assist a Pennsylvania Utility Company in the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy. Indiana Task Force One has been activated to head to the hurricane zone.

The team received notification from FEMA and the members organized at headquarters in Indianapolis Monday.

Task Force One has all the equipment needed to tackle the effects of the storm, rescue boats, manpower and search dogs.

The group is familiar with these kinds of natural disasters. They responded to Ike in 2008 and Katrina in 2005.
