(ORLEANS) - The Orleans Chamber of Commerce invites all Orleans residents to take part in its annual Christmas Lighting Contest.
This year's contest is open to all residential properties in Orleans located within a five mile radius. This year's theme is "Christmas in my Hometown."
Deadline for entries will be Dec. 7th and the contest will be judged Dec. 10th . Prizes will be awarded for best overall decorating.
Chamber officials wishes to everyone that anyone who has won first place honors within the last two years will be eligible to win that category this year.
Nominations for the Christmas Lighting Contest may be mailed directly to the Orleans Chamber of Commerce, P.O. Box 9 or dropped off at Orleans Town Hall. Participants may also enter or nominate the home of someone else by emailing historicorleans@netsurfusa.net
Those wishing to fax their entries may do so to 865-3413. Special entry forms will appear in The Orleans Progress Examiner.
All entries must include the owner's name, address, telephone number, and detailed driving directions.
