Orleans Children Can Write Postcards To Santa

Last updated on Friday, November 30, 2012

(ORLEANS) - The Orleans Chamber of Commerce is once sponsoring a special “Letter Box” for Santa Claus this year that will be located just outside the Chamber Office/Welcome Center on the north side of the Orleans Town Square.

Special postcards for Santa are now available free of charge for local youngsters to
write their Christmas Wishes.

The postcards may be picked up at various businesses around town including Orleans Town Hall, Fifth Third Bank, J & S Sportswear, Country Star, Orleans Antiques and Mid-Southern Bank.

The special postcards require no postage and must be dropped directly back into the red "Santa" Box at the Chamber office (Not in the regular Post Office boxes). All cards will be forwarded on to Santa at the North Pole and selected ones may also appear in upcoming editions of The Progress Examiner.

Christmas is fast approaching and all cards need to be collected for Santa in time for his Christmas Eve ride.
