(MITCHELL) - A Mitchell man filed a police report after a mother and her son came to his home in the 100 block of Dale Street Wednesday morning and the son hit him.
According to Mitchell Police Chief Mike Hardman, the man says Krista Umphress and her son Zack Cooper went to his home and accused him of stealing from them. That is when Cooper allegedly punched the man.
Hardman says the case report has been sent to the Lawrence County Prosecutor's office for review.
"The man did not suffer any major injuries," Hardman says. "And no arrests have been made at this time."
