(MITCHELL) - 46-year-old Gene Smith, of Mitchell, was arrested after he forced his way into his ex-wife’s home and injured her female friend.
According to Mitchell Police, Smith went to a home in the 100 block of Kelly Street, Thanksgiving night and forced his way into the home. He then slapped and choked his ex-wife's female friend.
Smith's ex-wife has a protective order against Smith.
Smith was arrested and charged with battery causing injury, residential entry, criminal trespass and strangulation.
