(TRAFALGAR) - A Brown County man was arrested for domestic battery after being involved in a domestic dispute with his wife Saturday night in Trafalgar.
Brown County Sheriff Rick Followell says beside the domestic battery charge, 48-year-old Clifford D. Johnson, of Trafalgar, was also charged with interfering with a 911 call.
Followell says around 6:30 p.m., sheriff's deputies and EMS went to 4502 Peoga Road where they learned the dispute between Clifford Johnson and his wife, Linda S. Johnson had been physical.
Linda S. Johnson, who was found at a neighbor's house, told deputies that Clifford Johnson had hit her, pulled her hair and kept her from calling 911.
Clifford Johnson was later found, arrested and charged. He was lodged in the Brown County Jail on $4,000 bond.
