Last Year For Deckards To Play Santa

(HELTONVILLE) - Harold and Dolly Deckard, of Heltonville, will continue to help those in need through this Christmas season - but it will be their last year.

Toys are lining the walls waiting for youngsters to claim, However, there are still several needs as the Christmas season approaches.

Those wishing to help can donate new cars and trucks for boys, cologne and bath sets for teenage boys and other trinkets that will appeal to the "older siblings" of those helped by the Deckards.

Items can be dropped off at the Deckard's home at 2592 Ramsey Ridge Road, or in Bedford at 710 27th St., where items can just be left on the porch

The Deckards have been supplying toys for years, Health problems and age are derailing their effort, so this year will be the last Christmas they will be delivering presents to children.
