(BEDFORD) - Monroe Lake naturalist Jill Vance will present a program on game birds called "Quail, Pheasant, Grouse: The Life of a Game Bird" at the Bedford Public Library on Wednesday, Nov. 14 at 6 p.m.

Vance will discuss the lifestyles of three game birds: pheasant, ruffed grouse, and bobwhite quail. She will share how reservoir biologists manage habitat to keep these birds happy and healthy.

Because all three game birds are in season right now, Vance will also discuss Monroe Lake hunting locations and state regulations during the 45- to 60-minute program.

The Bedford Public Library is located at 1323 K St. in Bedford. Questions about this program should be directed to Vance at (812) 837-9967 or jvance@dnr.IN.gov.
