(BLOOMINGTON) - The Dance Circus, Bloomington’s only professional dancewear store, will open Monday in Suite 124 of Fountain Square Mall.
Paula Chambers, founder of the Hudsucker Posse hoop dance troupe, is the owner of the store, which will carry dance shoes of all types, professional quality tights, hoops and other dance accessories, and required attire for the Indiana University pre-ballet program and "The Nutcracker" cast. All tap shoes will be half off during November, and many items will be discounted during the store's grand opening.
Store hours Monday will be 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. The store will be closed Tuesday for Election Day and will be open Wednesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Regular store hours after this week will be 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday.
