Last updated on Thursday, November 22, 2012

(UNDATED) - 18-year-old Dylan Rayhill, of Mitchell, was arrested Monday night after Crimestoppers received a tip that he was at a home in Marion County.

According to Lawrence County Sheriff Sam Craig, Crimestoppers aired on Fox59 news that Rayhill was wanted on a warrant in Lawrence County for the attack and robber an elderly man at his Port Williams Road home on Nov. 7.

"Within minutes of that showing, Crimestoppers received a call reporting Mr. Rayhill was in Marion County," Craig says. "He was arrested by federal marshals a short time later. He will be brought back to Lawrence County to face the charges."

The investigation is continuing and there could be future arrest warrants issued, Craig added.

It is believed one of the three men had a knife during the attack and robbery. The attack didn't result in major injuries.

"They roughed him up pretty good," Craig says. "But he didn't need medical attention."
