(BLOOMINGTON) - 42-year-old Keith D. Crum was arrested Wednesday by Bloomington police on charges of child solicitation after he posted an advertisement for sex on Craigslist.
According to Bloomington Police Lt. Bill Parker, a 14-year-old girl answered the ad in an email exchange with Crum. She told Crum she was only 14 and wanted no strings attached.
School officials learned about the email and contacted police.
Police took over the girl's email account and a detective, posing as the 14-year-old, continued an email correspondence with Crum.
They arranged a meeting on Nov. 15, but the man didn't show.
