(BLOOMINGTON) - A group sex escapade went awry when an Alabama man, who was watching the act, decided to attack a man who was engaging with two women, one of them his fiance.
Bloomington Police Department Lt. Bill Parker says following the attack on the man, 30-year-old Richard Casey Morgan, allegedly beat his fiance. Police arrested Morgan.
Parker says the Craigslist-arranged match-up took a violent turn when the unknown male breached an agreement to only watch their significant others engage in sex acts with one another.
When the man became involved, Morgan got upset. The man and woman left the Motel 6, 1800 N. Walnut St., where the fix-up was scheduled to take place.
When police arrived, Mogran's fiance answered the door. Officers say she had a swollen face and scrapes.
The woman told police she was slammed against the wall, and Morgan choked her. Parker says she refused medical attention.
Police arrested Morgan about half a block from the motel in suspicion of domestic assault and strangulation. Morgan told police he denies the allegations.
Parker says once police told her they would be investigating the incident, she changed her story and told police she was injured in an unrelated accident.
Morgan was arrested, but released the next day.
