(JUDAH) - A Bedford woman and her nephew were injured after the tire on their vehicle blew out Friday at 7:20 a.m.

According to a Lawrence County Police report, 26-year-old Abby Anderson was traveling south on Ind. 37 when a tire on her 1994 Pontiac Grand Prix blew causing her to lose control of her car.

The car entered the median, crossed the northbound lanes of traffic and went off the east side of the road and down a steep embankment.

Anderson complained of body pain and her nephew, 10-year-old Logan Bundy complained of chest pain. Both were treated at a local hospital and released.
