(BEDFORD) - The Up in the Air Science Fair will be held Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Virgil I Grissom Airport.
The event is free to attend. StratoStar Systems High Altitude Balloon Launch
With on- board student experiments will launch at 10 a.m.
The event is sponsored by The Liberty Bell 7 Anniversary Committee.
There will be several interactive exhibits put on by the Challenger Learning Center, Lawrence County Museum, Liberty Bell 7 Anniversary Committee, Duke Energy, Mitchell Science Club, Lawrence County Art Club, Crane Science Kits, IUPUI, ISU, Anderson University, Ball State and more.
There will be a vintage airplane display, radio controlled air show from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., telescope viewing with StarGazers & Mitchell Library staff.
Food vendors will be available all day.
