Two Women Suffer Stab Wounds In Washington

(WASHINGTON) - Washington Police Officers received a call late Saturday night about a stabbing on East Walnut St.

According to Washington Police Chief Mike Healy, when officers arrived they discovered two females had suffered cuts to their faces.

Healy says, both females were immediately transported to the Daviess Community Hospital for the treatment.

It is unknown if a suspect is in custody at this time. Healy says, the names of the suspect and victims are not being released at this time.

WPD will continue their investigation into this case.
