(BEDFORD) - The Bedford Board of Works approved changing the name of Plaza Drive North to Becky Skillman Way.
The name change is to honor Lt. Governor Becky Skillman.
The request will now go before the City Council on Tuesday for their final approval.
City officials say renaming the street will honor Skillman's work and dedication to the city of Bedford and the state.
