(FREDERICKSBURG) - When officers were sent to investigate an abandoned pickup truck Sept. 30 on U.S. 150 just west of Fredericksburg, they found many items inside used to manufacture methamphetamine using the popular "one-pot" method.

Stephanie Taylor Ferriell, of the Leader-Democrat reports, they also found female clothing and a paper with the name "Mackenzie Burton." A short while later, officers located Burton, 24, walking along the highway east of Radcliff Road.

When officers spoke to Burton, she said the vehicle had broken down and she was walking to get gas money. During the conversation, Burton became agitated and asked what this was all about. An officer responded that it was about her driving around with a meth lab in the truck.

Burton was then arrested and transported to the Washington County Detention Center.

Burton is charged with dealing in meth, a Class B felony, and posession of precursors, a Class D felony.

She is being held on a $21,500 full cash only bond.
