(BEDFORD) - Parkview Primary is getting some new playground equipment. According to Principal Christy Wintczak the special needs preschool received funds a couple of years ago to buy the new equipment.

Students will be receiving a climbing wall, a tube to crawl through and some picnic tables.

Wintczak says after receiving the equipment they found they had no room for it.

That is when the school received funds to expand the playground and place a soft safe zone around the equipment in case a child would fall.

If all goes well Wintczak says the playground will be open in a couple of weeks.
