(BEDFORD) - Lawrence County Highway Superintendent David Holmes, says new school zone, pedestrian and speed limit signs have been posted on Stars Boulevard just east of Bedford North Lawrence High School.
The precautions were taken to make the path from the high school to the cross country and soccer facility safer.
Commissioner Dave Flinn says now it is up to the school to make the crosswalk.
Holmes added that the school is also looking at putting up a snow fence to channel everyone toward the crosswalk.
