Elnora Woman Held on Four Theft Counts

(ELNORA) - An Elnora woman is in the County Lock-up after being arrested for shoplifting at four Washington businesses Thursday.

At 3:24 p.m. Traderbaker Flea Market in Cherry Tree Plaze called the Washington Police Department saying they had apprehended a female shoplifter.

When Officers arrived they found thirty-three year old Erin Dawn Dove of Elnora in possession of items taken from the Flea Market, Touch of Heaven, and Goody's.

Meanwhile, Police received a call from the Old Tin Lantern, Downtown Antique Store, reporting that a female, matching Dove's description, had broken into the stores jewelry case and had taken four rings.

Dove was questioned and admitted taking the rings.

The jewelry was retrieved from possessions in the booking room at the Daviess County Security Center and identified by the store's owner.

Dove was charged with four counts of theft and is being held in the Security Center.

No bond has been set.
