Convicted Murder Robert Lee Moved To South Bend

Last updated on Saturday, October 27, 2012

(UNDATED) - Convicted murderer and sex offender Robert E Lee is on the move again.

An alert notification from the Indiana Department of Correction received early Friday morning says Lee is moving to 4650 Old Cleveland Road in South Bend.

Department of Correction spokeswoman Amy Lanum says no matter where Lee is housed he'll be closely monitored by G-P-S and parole staff.

Lee was released after serving less than half of a 60-year sentence for good behavior and educational achievements.

Lee was convicted for the 1986 murder and dismemberment of Bloomington resident Ellen Marks. In the last month public outcry has forced Lee to move from Bloomington, North Vernon and Indianapolis.
