Brownstown Middle School Librarian Karen Ault Recognized For Excellence

(BROWNSTOWN) - A Brownstown Middle School librarian will be honored by the Indiana Library Federation on Nov. 13 at the federation’s annual conference.

According to a news release, Karen Ault will be recognized for excellence and innovative leadership in the development of school library service as well as remarkable service to the profession, according to a news release from the federation.

Among other strengths Ault is committed to raising awareness that teachers and librarians need to work together in developing students' educational pursuits and research. She is asked to present sessions on many topics and collaborates with teachers to integrate technology and best practices in the classroom at the school. A teacher who wrote a nomination letter says Ault enables staff and students to be more successful as they learn to tackle research more efficiently and effectively.
