(BEDFORD) - Firefighters from the Bedford Fire Department were called to an apartment on Ted Jones Drive after the resident thought there was a possible fire in her apartment.

"When we arrived there was a terrible hot smell like something might be burning," said BFD Chief John Wagner. "There was no fire, a motor had over-heated."

Wagner says the maintenance man arrived on site to make repairs.

There was no damage the apartment.
