(MITCHELL) - The community of Mitchell is rallying around 11-year-old Andrew Terrell, the son of Zach and Lindsey Terrell, who was recently diagnosed with leukemia.
Diagnosed with the disease Oct. 6, the Mitchell Junior High School sixth-grader will be honored Saturday at a Big Daddy Kickball Fun Day and Awards Ceremony.
"Andrew's Fight" T-shirts and bracelets are currently in the works to help raise more funds for the family. The T-shirts and bracelets will be sold during the event, or if you'd like to pre-order a T-shirt, you can call Dee at 583-0612, Miranda at (317) 409-4746 or Aimee at 545-1309. The cost is $10 for each shirt.
