(HELTONVILLE) - A Crane woman was injured after she crashed her car on Ind. 446 near the intersection of Hunter’s Creek Road Monday afternoon.
According to a Lawrence County Police report, 32-year-old Christina Bullard, was traveling south on Ind. 446 when she ran her 1998 Volkswagen Jetta off the roadway.
She hit a road sign, went over the embankment and hit the drainage ditch before stopping in the yard of Sandra Ault.
Police say when they arrived at the scene, Bullard was sitting in the yard next to her car. She told police she couldn't remember what happened.
Bullard complained of ankle pain and was taken to IU Health Bloomington Hospital.
Police says Bullard smelled of alcohol and requested a blood-draw at the hospital. Possible charges are pending.
