Two Injured In Crash On 16th Street

(BEDFORD) - Two people were injured after one driver ran a red light at the intersection of 16th Street and Edgewood Drive, Thursday afternoon.

According to a Bedford Police report, 54-year-old Cindy Bridges, of Bedford, was traveling east on 16th and was stopped at the stop light at the intersection and the light had just turned green when her 2002 Chevrolet Trailblazer was hit by a 1997 Buick Park Avenue driven by 80-year-old Albert Eckert, of Bedford.

Bridges was not injured. Albert Eckert suffered minor bleeding to his arm. His passenger 53-year-old Tami Eckert, of Bedford, had minor bleeding to her knee and lower leg.
