(MITCHELL) - Quilt and art exhibits will be featured at the Mitchell Community Public Library during the 66th annual Persimmon Festival.

Jacqui Milliern, youth services librarian says, the quilts are made by members of the Spring Mill Stitchers and will be on exhibit upstairs in the library through Oct. 2.

Original art from Indiana artists will be open to the public Sept. 24-25 and Sept. 27-29 in the Community Room on the lower level. Display cases also will contain items made by local artisans.
