POW/MIA Recognition Ceremony At Crane Today

(CRANE) - The U.S. Army, Navy, Air Force and Marine Corps will host the annual Joint Services Prisoner of War/Missing in Action Recognition Ceremony at 10 a.m. Thursday at Naval Support Activity, Crane.

Crane Army Ammunition Activity will join with Naval Support Activity Crane, Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane Division, and members of the Marine Corps and Air Force, in honoring past and present prisoners of war and those listed as missing in action.

Former POWs, or families of deceased former POWs, will be honored at the ceremony.

Guest speaker for this year's ceremony will be Rear Adm. Ricky Williamson, commander of Navy Region Midwest.

A luncheon to honor the former POWs will be served at Club Lakeview immediately following the ceremony.
