(ORLEANS) - Orleans Police Chief Roy McFarland is reminding residents that vehicles that are inoperable and parked on private or public property is a violation of the law.
McFarland says officers will be tagging all inoperable vehicles. Once the vehicle is tagged, the owner will have 72 hours to remove the vehicle or it will be towed and the owner will be responsible for any and all towing and storage fees.
