(NASHVILLE) - Budget Travel Magazine has named Nashville to its 10 Coolest Small Towns in America list for 2012.
The article mentions that for a century, the small Brown County community did just fine as a turn-of-the-century Midwest artists' colony and that craft studios still line the streets today. It also featured the 23-room Artists Colony Inn and mentioned its works from the town's creative founders on its walls.
It also discussed that supply and demand for homegrown performances has spiked since the Little Nashville Opry burned down in 2009.
