(MITCHELL) - Mitchell police are investigating the theft of medication from a woman’s purse as she was shopping at the JayC Store, Thursday afternoon.
The woman told police she was shopping at the JayC Store when someone reached in her purse and stole 15 Fentanyl pain patches.
The woman says she didn't realize the medication was missing until she arrived home, but she was sure they were taken from her purse while she was at the store.
Police are reviewing store surveillance video and anyone with information is asked to call police.
