(BLOOMINGTON) - Eastbound State Road 45/Bloomfield Road traffic should be aware of traffic pattern changes at the northbound State Road 37 ramp signal.
The Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) recently added a lane to the entrance ramp to improve traffic flow.
The traffic signal now allows two lanes for traffic turning left from eastbound State Road 45 onto northbound State Road 37 and one lane for through traffic onto Bloomfield Road. Prior to construction, there was one left-turn lane and two through lanes.
INDOT encourages drivers to stay alert as other motorists become accustomed to the new traffic pattern. INDOT urges all drivers to be aware of work zone locations, practice safe driving habits and navigate all work zones cautiously. Drivers can learn the locations of highway work zones ahead of time by visiting www.TrafficWise.in.gov or by calling 1-800-261-ROAD (7623).
