(BEDFORD) - 66-year-old William Edmonson, of Mitchell, was injured after a white pickup truck failed to stop at the stop sign at 25th Street and Mitchell Road and collided with his 2007 AMF motorcycle.
According to a Bedford Police report, Edmonson, who was traveling south on Mitchell Road, slammed on his brakes and that caused him to lose control of the motorcycle.
Edmonson suffered facial bleeding.
The pickup then fled the scene.
Anyone with information about the truck is asked to call police.
