(BEDFORD) - 27-year-old David Cobb, of Oolitic, was arrested early Thursday morning after Bedford police received a 911 call reporting an attempted burglary.
According to Chief Dennis Parsley, a resident in the 1800 block of 15th Street reported there was a man attempting to enter their home.
The homeowner told police they had scared the man off.
The homeowner was able to give officers a description of the man and police located Cobb in the 900 block of Lincoln Avenue.
Parsley say while talking to Cobb, officers realized Cobb was intoxicated. He was arrested and charged with public intoxication.
