Bedford Man Arrested After Crashing Car

(BEDFORD) - A Bedford man was arrested after he crashed his car Monday night.

According to a Bedford Police reports, Michael Gentry, 34, of Bedford, was arrested for operating a vehicle while intoxicated and being a habitual traffic violator after he crashed his 1997 Pontiac Grand Prix.

Police say, Gentry was traveling north on Ind. 37 near 29th Street, when he drove his car off the roadway into the median and hit a culvert.

He then went back onto the roadway and continued traveling north on Ind. 37 until the vehicle could go no further. Police say the vehicle was riding on the rims.

Gentry told police he had been drinking prior to getting into the vehicle.
