(BEDFORD) - 18-year-old Daniel Purcell, of Bedford, was arrested on charges of public intoxication, disorderly conduct, resisting arrest by force and criminal mischief.
Bedford Police Chief Dennis Parsley says police were called to a home in the 1700 block of K Street after a woman reported someone broke out the rear window of her home.
When police arrived they found Purcell hiding in the bushes.
Police say Purcell was intoxicated and when police told him he was being arrested on charges of public intoxication and criminal mischief, he became combative and attempted to kick officers as they were putting him into the police car.
