Two Women Suffer Minor Injuries In Crash

(BEDFORD) Two people were injured when their vehicles collided at Sixth Street and Lincoln Avenue Friday morning.

According to a Bedford Police Department report, 71-year-old Florence Scott, of Heltonville, was traveling west on Sixth Street when she stopped at a stop sign and didn't see an oncoming vehicle.

Police say Scott, pulled her 2000 Buick LeSabre into the path of a northbound 1988 Dodge Caravan on Lincoln Avenue.

According to police, both women suffered minor injuries. Scott complained of arm pain and Kirkman complained of chest pain.

Both women refused to be taken to the hospital by ambulance.
