(WASHINGTON) - A domestic fight Monday at an apartment building on south east Fourth Street in Washington, landed both people involved in jail.
According to police they received a 911 call at 11:36 p.m. reporting that a man was beating on a woman in the hallway of the apartment building.
When police arrived they found 47-year-old Franklin Allen and 32-year-old Melinda Norris fighting.
Police discovered Norris was wanted on a warrant in Lawrence County for theft and Allen was arrested and charged with battery and domestic battery.
Both are being held in the Daviess County Security Center, until Norris can be transported to Lawrence County.
