(BEDFORD) - Two drunk drivers were arrested after a collision early Saturday.

According to a Lawrence County Police Department report, 57-year-old David Seabolt, of Heltonville, was driving west on Humpback Bridge Road at 12:06 a.m. and had stopped his 1994 General Motors truck at the intersection of Humpback Bridge Road and Ind. 446.

Meanwhile, 37-year-old Shannon Savell, 37, of Bedford, was turning a 1996 Chevrolet Blazer right from Ind. 446 onto Humpback Bridge Road.

Police say, the Blazer went left of center and collided with the front driver's side of the pickup.

Savell suffered minor facial injuries and bleeding and was treated at the scene by an IU Health Bedford Hospital crew and emergency response teams from Pleasant Run Volunteer Fire Department.

Seabolt was taken to the Lawrence County Jail, after failing a breath test and was charged with operating a vehicle while intoxicated and operating a vehicle while intoxicated with endangerment.

Savell was taken to IU Health Bedford, where her blood was drawn and she too was jailed for operating a vehicle while intoxicated by a controlled substance.
