According to a Bedford Police Department report, 71-year-old Florence Scott, of Heltonville, was traveling west on Sixth Street when she stopped at a stop sign and didn't see an oncoming vehicle.

Police say Scott, pulled her 2000 Buick LeSabre into the path of a northbound 1988 Dodge Caravan on Lincoln Avenue.

According to police, both women suffered minor injuries. Scott complained of arm pain and Kirkman complained of chest pain.
