(MITCHELL) - Mitchell City police arrested two 15-year-old boys following a chase in a reported stolen car.
The 2000 Pontiac owned by Amanda Ochs, of Bedford, was reported stolen from Pleasant View Drive in Mitchell at 3:44 a.m. Sunday.
Mitchell Police spotted the car along Hancock Avenue and attempted to pull it over. A short chase followed and the juveniles stopped the Pontiac along Meridian Road and ran from the vehicle just North of Hamilton Boulevard.
The Bedford City K-9 was brought in and the boys were caught around 4:20 a.m.
Both teens were charged with auto theft, resisting arrest by fleeing in a vehicle and resisting arrest by fleeing on foot.
