(LOOGOOTEE) - Local stargazers are invited to West Boggs Park this weekend to see the Perseids meteor showers.
The Dogwood Shelter area provides an optimum viewing spot for the showers because of its elevation and minimal light pollution.
The shelter will be reserved for stargazers the early morning hours of Saturday and Sunday with rest rooms and parking available
Regular park fees will apply.
