Last updated on Sunday, August 26, 2012

(WORTHINGTON) - A statewide silver alert has been issued for a Worthington man missing since Aug. 10.

A statewide alert and search is underway for James K. Morgan, 55, last seen at his residence 15 days ago.

Morgan, described by Worthington Police as 5-feet-3 inches tall and 150 pounds, has short balding gray hair and green eyes.

Police stated in the silver alert he is believed to be in danger and may need emergency medical attention.

Per the Greene County Sheriff's Department, Morgan has a cardiac condition and may not have access to his heart medicine.

"He has a heart condition," said dispatcher Bruce Porter "They just don't think he took it with him."

Police are uncertain how Morgan may have been dressed when last seen. However, they noted he is identifiable by multiple tattoos on his arms and legs, including one on his leg which reads "James + Della."

He is further believed to be driving a gray 2003 Dodge Ram pick-up truck with Indiana plates whose number is 1529378.

Anyone with any information on Morgan's whereabouts is urged to contact the Worthington Police Department and the Greene County Sheriff at 384-4411.
