Police Arrest Several After Discovery Of Meth Labs

(PAOLI) - Six different meth labs and the remnants of two others were located by police in Orange County in the last 10 days.

Seven people have been arrested and warrants are being sought for several others.

The first of the labs was found on Aug. 10 at a home in Orleans. There police arrested 32-year-old Mitchell Simpson and 29-year-old Leslie Simpson. Both were charged with Simpsons were charged with dealing meth within a 1,000 feet of a school.

28-year-old Holly Sluder, and 35-year-old Michael Sluder were arrested Tuesday at a home northwest of Paoli. Both were charged with a number of counts including dealing in meth.

On the same day the Sluders were arrested, 35-year-old James Cory Collins was arrested at a home in Paoli and was charged with four counts, including one count of dealing in meth within 1,000 feet of a school. Collins also had an outstanding warrant for contempt of court.

31-year-old Heather Tisdel, of Paoli was also arrested Tuesday, after Indiana State Police served a search warrant at her home on East U.S. 150 in Paoli. She faces 10 charges including one count of dealing meth.

On Thursday, 30-year-old Christopher Clark was arrested on three charges, including dealing meth. Clark's arrest was at a home in Paoli. He had an outstanding warrant for a petition to revoke probation bond from a previous case.

The arrests resulted from investigations by the Orange County Sheriff's Department, the Indiana State Police and the Paoli and Orleans police departments.
