(MITCHELL) - Police officers continue to investigate the armed-robbery at Lost River Liquor.

Police officers from Mitchell and Lawrence County spent Wednesday afternoon searching for the man, who armed with a .45 long barrel revolver concealed in a Dollar General grocery sack, and walked into the liquor store on Sixth Street in Mitchell and robbed the clerk.

Police were called at 3:20 p.m.

Police are looking for a white man, between 35 to 40 years-old, with blonde hair. The man was wearing a white t-shirt and khakis.

Police spent the evening interviewing several people and searching the area and gathering evidence at the store. No arrest have been made.

Anyone with information is asked to call police.
