Last updated on Friday, August 10, 2012

(JUDAH) - Marshall Township Volunteer Fire Department Chief Chad Hays says the department is looking for volunteers.

Applications are being accepted for firefighters, EMTs and first responders.

The department needs firefighters who could respond during day-time hours, but will accept applications from those who can work any time.

Training is provided and a clothing and fuel allowance will be paid after a member has a year of service.

Hayes says the department also needs auxiliary members.

Auxiliary members help support the department with fund raisers and other activities and are not required to respond to emergencies.

Applications are available at the fire barn at 75 Fire Barn Lane, or those interested can call 279-2236 or send an email to marshalltwp6@aol.com.
