Man Injured After Vehicle Hits Tree

(WASHINGTON) - Jeremy B. Roach, 37, 406 Dewey Ave., appeared to be westbound on County Road 400South Thursday in his 2003 Ford Ranger and failed to slow when he attempted to turn left onto Horral Road.

The vehicle ran off the west side of Horral Road, through a driveway and into a yard, overturning onto the drivers side and hitting a tree.

Roach was trapped in the vehicle and had to be extricated by Washington and Veale township volunteer firefighters. He was airlifted directly from the scene to Deaconess Hospital for injuries over his entire body.

There was damage to the yard and tree of Richard Killion, 4005 S. Horral Rd. Damage was estimated between $5,000 and $10,000.
